The Global Hydro Chatbot works with two specialized agents: DocuBot and LogicBot. Both access structured internal data, are trained on real hydropower data, and deliver precise answers to technical questions in seconds. This supports daily work in operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

DocuBot. Navigator through your plant documentation.

This agent is specialized in analyzing and searching technical documents like operation manuals, maintenance plans, hydraulic diagrams, wiring diagrams, nameplates, spare parts lists, and supplier documentation. It knows all information related to electromechanical equipment – from turbine commissioning to service parts.

"I need to order new oil. How many liters of oil
does the hydraulic unit need?"

"What are the maintenance intervals for the
generator, and what needs to be done?"

"What is the type and brand of the relay K25
which is installed in the turbine control cubicle?"

 

Instead of searching through PDFs or contacting the service team, the operator simply types the question in HydroxConnect. DocuBot provides the correct answer within seconds – reliably and precisely. Especially in critical situations like malfunctions or tight service windows, this immediate access to plant knowledge is a real time-saver and safety benefit.

LogicBot. Translator for your control system.

This agent was developed to explain the logic behind control and automation systems in a simple and understandable way. It has access to the complete source code of PLC and explains how signals are processed, linked, and activated – step by step. No programming knowledge is required.

"Why is the hydraulic pump motor not starting?"

"What conditions are needed to activate the rake cleaner?"

"Which PLC output switches the pressure unit?"

"Which conditions must be fulfilled that the PLC output -
KF81 Channel 3 switches to HIGH?”

"What does the error message 316: Interlock Condition’ mean?"

 

LogicBot analyzes signal flow from input to output, shows logic links, and explains which conditions must be fulfilled for a function to be activated. It also considers safety interlocks, priorities, delays, and system states – just like an experienced automation engineer.

A practical example
A hydraulic motor does not start. The operator at site will be able to check if fuses, contactors and cables are ok but everything else is handled by the PLC and the programmed logic. Instead of studying the schematics or calling a software expert, the technician asks: 

"What are the conditions for the motor to start?"
The chatbot agent lists all necessary conditions – like minimum pressure in the accumulator, operation mode of the motor or safety interlocks like minimum oil level – and leads step by step though the troubleshooting.

This allows faults to be found faster, reduces service calls, and makes the team much more independent in their daily troubleshooting tasks.
