The Batang Kali Small Hydropower Plant demonstrates how strong partnerships and proven hydropower technology can create sustainable value for generations. Developed in close cooperation with Worldwide Holdings, the project supports Malaysia’s transition towards a cleaner and more resilient energy future by delivering reliable renewable electricity.

Global Hydro supplied two vertical Pelton turbines with a combined installed capacity of 5.3 MW, along with the complete electromechanical equipment package for the plant. Integrated with the advanced HerosControl Plant Control System, the facility benefits from intelligent automation, comprehensive monitoring, and efficient operational management, ensuring high performance, reliability, and long-term operational excellence.
