As a turnkey provider, Global Hydro was responsible for the design, engineering, project management, and the successful commissioning of the electrical and mechanical equipment for this hydropower project. One Kaplan turbine with a 0.94-meter runner diameter generates 506 kW of energy. A key challenge was the significant fluctuations between the upper and lower water levels, which were mastered by optimizing the turbine geometry for a head fluctuation range of 8.5 to 14 meters, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
