The Upper Taft Hydropower Plant in Eastern Samar, Philippines, showcases Global Hydro's expertise in delivering complex Water-to-Wire hydropower solutions. Completed in a record 15-month delivery, installation, and commissioning period, the project strengthens the region's renewable energy supply with reliable and sustainable hydropower.
Global Hydro supplied the complete electromechanical package, including three Francis turbines with a combined installed capacity of 14.4 MW, generators, transformers, MV/HV switchgear, butterfly valves, hydraulic units, and the HerosControl Plant Control System. The project also included the complete High Voltage switchyard, highlighting Global Hydro's capability to deliver fully integrated hydropower solutions.
