Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the international quality assurance team strategically and operationally
  • Control and optimize quality assurance processes to ensure efficient testing procedures and continuous quality improvement
  • Develop quality standards, testing methods, and guidelines to meet the highest regulatory and customer-specific requirements
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Manage supplier development and qualification, including audits, process approvals, and quality evaluations throughout the supply chain
  • Ensure product quality and on-time delivery, considering economic and technical conditions
  • Promote a proactive quality culture through training, employee awareness, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile:

  • Completed technical degree (FH, TU, or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in quality assurance within international machinery or plant engineering
  • Proven leadership experience in a globally operating company
  • Solid knowledge of quality management methods (e.g., FMEA, 8D reports, Six Sigma) and experience in implementing standards and regulatory requirements
  • Practical experience in supplier audits, process approvals, and quality analyses
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers worldwide
  • Strong assertiveness with the ability to embed quality topics strategically and operationally
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 40%)
